Occupational Therapist - Orthotics & Prosthetics

Location: Cleveland, OH

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist/Rehabilitation Coordinator:
  • The Rehabilitation Coordinator is responsible for assisting patients in identifying their goals and working toward achieving their fullest level of prosthetic independence.
  • This role also involves working side by side with certified prosthetic specialists utilizing the most advanced prosthesis system technology. 
  • The Rehabilitation Coordinators collaborate with therapists and other medical professionals to maximize evidenced based patient outcomes.
  • Their clinicians actively participate in research, publications, and professional presentations to advance prosthetic limb rehabilitation.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist/Rehabilitation Coordinator:
  • Must have an Ohio State License to practice as an OT.
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L or MOTR/L) is required.
  • 3+ years of experience as an occupational therapist is required.
  • Experience developing individualized treatment plans is a must.
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of the field of prosthetics is preferred.
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is strongly preferred.
  • Should have Strong organizational skills.
  • Should be a Self-starter with an ability to multitask.
  • Must be comfortable working in a high pressure environment.
