Behavioral Health Nurse

Location: Lander, WY
Great opportunity for an Behavioral Health Nurse in the central area of Wyoming.

Both Day and Night shifts available.  This is a 12 hour shift.

Offering Relocation Assistance; Temporary Housing Allowance, and Retention Bonus.

Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Nurse Nurse:
  • The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Behavioral Health Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of evidenced based nursing practice guidelines.
  • In addition to basic nursing care, responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Nurse include, but are not limited to, completes physical and mental health assessments, develops care plans for the patients, helping them be as independent as possible, reports behavioral changes, helps patients improve their coping abilities and meet goals, and records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.
 Requirements of the Behavioral Health Nurse:
  • Current RN License in the State of Wyoming or equivalent Compact License
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
