Family Practice Physician w/OB

Location: Alliance, NE

Currently seeking a Family Practice Physician w/OB for a full spectrum traditional practice with eHospitalist coverage at night in the Northwestern area of Nebraska. 
  • The practice includes an interest in obstetrics and the practice model is joining a well-established practice which already includes FP with OB and C-section.
  • Expected patient volume is 18-22 per day with the office conveniently located within the hospital.
  • The providers in the Family Medicine Clinic enjoy a 4 day work week and a relaxed rotating call schedule.

The responsibilities of the Family Practice Physician w/OB:
  • The Family Practice Physician will provide comprehensive health wellness, preventative and medical care to patients through the lifespan, and obstetrical and gynecological care to include C-sections.
  • The  physician will also need to participate in programs and initiatives that improve the overall service provided by the OB/GYN Program.
  • Furthermore, the physician will participate in the development of departmental policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and other control standards.  
  • Provides ambulatory care and services.
  • Directs other health care clinical support staff, as well as, participates in quality assurance, quality improvement, peer review and special projects.

Requirements of the Family Practice Physician w/OB:
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical School - Doctorate of Medicine
  • Completion of Internship or 4 years of OB-GYN Residency is required
  • Board Eligible or certified as OB/GYN Physician in Nebraska
  • Licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Medical Physician or Doctor of Osteopathy or Eligible for Licensure within an agreeable time frame
  • 2+ years practicing medicine in hospital or private practice preferred
